These days it is becoming more and more popular again among tourists visiting Thailand to attend yoga classes. Not hearing the pop of a knee or shoulder joint finally rediscovering its preferable position is almost impossible while walking down a Thai street. Long live the yoga revival! Here are a few quick introductions to several of Thailand’s finest yoga retreats.

Chiang Mai: The ‘Anusara Yoga Immersion Retreat’ at Kaomai Lanna Resort was recently completed. The retreat will be the host of important anurasa yoga meetings. Devotees from all over the world will frequently gather here. Sarah Powers and Paul Grilley will offer Yin Yoga at the Tao Garden Resort in December. Guide to Chiang Mai spa treatments

Koh Phangan: Without a single doubt, Koh Pha Ngan offers more than full-moon parties only. The most famous getaway for yoga enthusiasts is known as ‘The Sanctuary’. The retreat is wonderfully constructed into a forested mountain’s side overlooking Thien Beach. There are three daily yoga classes taking place in several dedicated halls along with meditation sessions in the evening. Accommodation is provided by the charming units on stilts and the restaurant serves a wide selection of comprehensive vegetarian cuisine. Another well-established and reputed facility is the ‘Agama Yoga Resort’, which was founded by Indian Swami Vivekananda Saraswati.

On the island’s northern shore in the fishing village of Bophut, the‘Absolute Sanctuary’ detox and yoga centre will be joining ‘Absolute Yoga Samui & Love Kitchen’. Koh Samui represents in the Mae Nam area ‘Yoga Thailand’, which is a long-established ashtanga centre run by fanatic practitioner Paul Dallaghan. Immaculate amenities all offering beautiful ocean views are provided by the ‘Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary & Holistic Spa’. More information on each of these yoga retreats is available on their website.

It is absolutely true, Thailand offers satisfying yoga retreats but I still think that the country’s finest can only be found on Koh Samui. By browsing the comprehensive http://www.1stopsamui.com website you can read all about it!
